I found a loft bed at walmart that i would like to buy (your zone metal loft bed) and would like to know if the your zone loft collection mini futon will fit under the bed with the your zone loft collection desk?
what could I put under a loft bed other than a desk or futon?
the bedroom is 10' x 10' or maybe 11' x 11'.
the way it is now, there's barely any floor space at all with the bed, desk, and bookshelf.
i need room for 2 to sleep, so i'm thinking about swapping the full-sized bed for a twin bed with a pop-up trundle bed underneath it, OR a full-sized loft bed that's similar to a bunk bed.
with the loft bed, the bed would be on top, but instead of a lower bed, there's room for a desk area or you can put a loveseat or futon underneath it. i like the idea of a loftbed, as the room has a cathedral ceiling, so one wall is high.
any ideas or suggestions?
My room is 7ft 11 inches tall. I am getting a loft bed and putting a futon under it. I really want head room at the top bunk. So i really want a silver metal frame that is about 5ft tall and have at least 3ft space under. ( for the futon) Any suggestions?
I wanted to build a loft for college that fits a futon underneath but still have enough headroom for the bed. I wasn't going to assemble the futon till I got there so I don't know what the right height would be, the box says its 32" high. Thanks
I currently have a very small room 10' x 13' to be exact. i also currently have a twin sized bed. i am 14. i want a bigger bed! is a futon the best option for a bigger bed that also gives me more room in my room? here are some futons i have been looking at:

I am living with my parents again, since it's so much cheaper than having my own place. I'll graduate in a year, but other options might open up to me in moving out. So, I don't know how much I should invest in my room at my parents house. I'll probably spend around $500 for a (used) loft bed, futon, paint, dresser, and accessories. Is it worth it?
My kids have outgrown the uses for a bunk bed. Now they want to take out the bottom bunk and just sort of have a bed on stilts so desks and things can fit underneath. Is there any way to to that without compromising the stability? the bed is rated to 300 lbs, but my kids are on the hefty side. Would just leaving one of the bottom bars that holds the mattress up suffice? This is the one:

It's made to be able to take the two pieces apart, if that would matter for anything.
