Can a 4-bedroom Kiwi house be turned into a successful backpackers' hostel?
August 25, 2010, 11:47 pmI'm toying with the idea of converting my old house in New Zealand into a backpackers' hostel. The location is perfect, but is it worth it? Tourist season is about three months a year, the average backpacker expects a price tag of NZ$40 a night (about US$20), and I suppose the house would sleep about 12 to 16 people in relative dignity. Monthly running costs of the house are about NZ$ 1600, or US$ 800 as it is. Would that work, or ist gonna be a nightmare? -
Is there a dog product out there for dogs to hike their leg on while in their playpen during the day?
August 24, 2010, 11:00 pmMy Chi has this thing lately of hiking his leg on the corner of his bed...It is driving me crazy. I have looked for some type of tree or bush that I can put in his pen on his pee pad. Of course it would have to be easily washable. Any ideas?? Please help! -

Does anybody know where to find a slipcover for a travel trailer futon couch?
August 21, 2010, 8:49 pmwe just bought a 1995 32 ft corsica cobra travel trailer. and well we got it cheap so we're redoing the whole inside. and we're needing to find a slip cover for a futon/couch. it looks like an actual couch but its slips into a bed (like a futon) it isnt like most futons, it has couch arms to it with fabric, we're having a hard time finding a cover that has arms also and can slide into a futon. if anybody knows were we can find something like this please let me know we need one this week. thanks -
